Make Time For You
Time. The number one reason why many of my weight loss clients struggle with losing weight.
If only I had more time, then I can focus on myself.
If only I had more time, then I can take care of myself.
If only I had more time, then I can work out.
The truth is, time is completely up to us. Stay with me here!
I want to start this blog by explaining that time is neutral. If you look at the bare facts of time, it is literally just numbers on some kind of device. That is literally it.
But it all comes down to how we think about our time that can cause us either grief or relief.
Your experience of your time is completely dependent on how you think about time.
Now, let me ask you this.
Do you think that you have enough time to accomplish your weight loss goals? If not, why?
What answers did you come up with?
Take a moment to write down your answer or type it on your phone or computer.
Notice what you wrote down and see what came up for you.
Do you believe that you have the time to commit to your weight loss?
Do you believe that you have the time to commit to yourself?
If you don’t, why not?
We all have 24 hours in the day. Each and every one of us.
But if you do not believe you have enough time to commit to yourself, I want you to realize something. That thought is literally blocking you from taking care of yourself. Whatever it is.
That thought is the reason why you are not at the weight you want.
And I want you to be aware that that thought is completely optional.
You can literally decide to think whatever you’d like about your time.
That is the best news I can give you!
You have the power to think about your time in any way you’d like.
You can choose to think you don’t have enough time to do what you want, and continue not producing the results that you want.
You can choose to think that you are capable of spending 15 minutes a day devoted completely to you, doing whatever you choose.
You can choose to think that your time is your choice, no matter what.
How you perceive time is completely up to you. And how you perceive it will ultimately lead to a feeling, an action, and a result that will create or not create the results that you want.
